Job Summary

The Corporate Accounts Manager is a hybrid role responsible for leading corporate contracting strategies while driving market access, payer engagement, and reimbursement initiatives across assigned geographies. This position integrates commercial execution with health economics and access strategy to ensure sustainable adoption of Terumo’s portfolio across healthcare systems, IDNs, GPOs, and payer environments. The role partners closely with Business Units and cross-functional teams to deliver a One Terumo value proposition, aligning pricing, contracting, reimbursement pathways, and economic value narratives to support long-term growth and profitability.

Job Details/Responsibilities

Manage Corporate Accounts and Contracting by leading corporate and territory contracting strategy across Terumo BUs. Own the negotiation, financial modeling, execution, and monitoring of contracts. Manage executive-level relationships within IDNs and GPOs. Lead RFI, RFPs, renewals and contract amendments, Ensure contract compliance, performance tracking and value realization

Ensure Market Access, Payers & Reimbursement by leading engagement with insurance companies, payers, and reimbursement stakeholders. Develop and support reimbursement strategies aligned with payer landscapes. Integrate health economic evidence and ROI narratives into contracting discussions. Monitor payer policy changes, reimbursement risks, and access barriers. Support value-based and access-driven discussions with providers and payers.

Create Value Based Strategy by supporting development of economic value propositions for key accounts. Partner with cross-functional teams to align access, pricing, and adoption strategies. Provide strategic guidance (not operational billing) on coverage, coding, and reimbursement pathways.

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Legal, Finance and Regulatory. Act as a bridge between commercial teams and market access functions. Support field teams with contracting and access strategy guidance.

Maintain significant field presence with customers and internal teams and engage executive-level decision makers across provider and payers.

Incumbent must follow all established Environmental Health & Safety and Quality System policies, programs, rules and practices, including but not limited to product and patient safety, the health and safety of all associates as well as the environment and community at large.

  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment to facilitate cross-company and functional support to effectively perform all required duties. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, and to lead and influence without authority.
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of C&V operations and strategies
  • Strong negotiation skills and business acumen.
  • Ability to understand contract terms and their implications for all parties.
  • Ability to engage into in-depth clinical discussions with customers about Terumo’s products, competitive products and overall market/therapeutic area dynamics. 
  • A high degree of initiative and interpersonal skill.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications/ Background Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing or related field equivalent work experience.
  • 7 years of healthcare industry experience, with a track record of cross-functional leadership in complex, matrix organizations.
  • Strong expertise in corporate contracting and strategic account management within PR & DR healthcare systems, including IDNs, GPOs, and large provider organizations.
  • Solid understanding of market access, payer dynamics, and reimbursement strategies that influence product adoption and coverage.
